What is Cricket?
The gentleman's game or more commonly known as cricket is played with bats, a ball and wooden wickets. Two teams, each consisting of 11 players take turns to bat and bowl. The aim of this game is to score the most runs. The bowler can get the batsman out by hitting the wickets, catching the ball before it bounces, fielding it and if the ball is line with the stump, but it is obstructed.

Major Events
The main events are planned and overlooked by the International Cricket Council (ICC). They plan the 50 over World Cup, T-20 world cup and the World Test Championship among others. National boards hold leagues such ass IPL, BBL, CPL, PSL etc.
